We do not have a team dedicated solely to this project but we will in the future once our first round of candidates have concluded the first work experience program.

We are hands on as many know so we would prefer to first learn from the mistakes and then address these properly.

The Selection of Candidates

1. Due to the nature of our business we require all the candidates to be nominated by our outreach partners.

2. All candidates are from different backgrounds with their own unique story. Our policy is to provide a second chance at a fruitful life and not to lay any judgement.

On this note all information is kept strictly confidential and will not be shared unless consent is provided.

3. If we could our company would employ everyone but unfortunately we are also limited on the number of candidates we can take on.

4. Our Outreach Partners will remain the primary guardian, they are the professionals, we are merely trying to play a small part in their incredible process.

All candidates will receive full training and on-site experience throughout the entire 3 Month Work Experience.

Our staff are all highly experienced and well trained and this provides our company the opportunity to reward them with a leadership role.

This is an invaluable work experience that has the opportunity to provide candidates with a sought after skill in an industry that has a long-term and sustainable future.

This is important for us as a company that no candidate is forced to work or to be part of the Growth Academy.

Sun Smart Solar does not make a cent from any grant or donation.

The Growth Academy is funded exclusively by Sun Smart Solar through the profits derived from our business.

If by some slim chance a brand that we install wishes to donate some equipment we would gladly accept this BUT we will announce this on our social media.

The Growth Academy is being registered as an NPO and will be registering with SETA when time and funds allow. This is purely to have the ability to grow the Academy and bring on other companies who may want to share our model.

This is about Leading Change and doing so by taking the first small step. Our hope is to have other business in the trade industry to do the same.

Our role is small, the greatest teams you can support financially are our Outreach Partners.
